Healthy Sexy Hair Pumpkin Potion Leave-In Conditioner Review

What is it? [It] revitalizes dry, brittle damaged and over processed hair. Helps mend split ends, minimize frizz and imparts body into limp lifeless hair. Gives body and lift to all hair types and also helps define curly hair.

Ingredients: water (eau) / aqua, carthamus tinctorius (safflower) seed oil, simmondsia chiensis (jojoba) seed oil, zingiber officinale (ginger) root oil, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium cloride, lactobacillus/curcurbita pepo (pumpkin) fuit ferment extract, stearalkonium chloride, behentrimonium methosulfate, ceteraryl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, hydroxyethyl cellulose, pvp, polysorbate 60, citric acid, tetrasodium edta, propylene glycol, diazolidinyl urea, methylparaben, propylparaben, fragrance (parfum), eugenol, cinnamal, coumarin, anise alcohol, linalool, benzyl benzoate, d-limonene, yellow 6 (cl15985), red 40 (cl 16036)

Application: I apply it to wet hair as a leave-in after washing (co or poo) and I apply it as a daily moisturizer. I also use it on my hair while baggying.

Outcome/Thoughts: Seriously, guys, I've been using this since November 2009 when I started my hair journey and it is a staple! (Yep, even after trying all the other leave-ins I recently purchased, it's still my favorite). I love the SMELL (like pumpkin pie, ya'll), I love the fact that it's cone-free (I don't mind cones but I don't like using too many) and I absolutely LOVE the way it makes my hair feel after using it. I will say that a little goes a long way with this, and I had to learn that QUICK! The very first time I used it, I piled it on my head and ended up with hard-feeling hair. After that I started using a little less than a dime sized amount for each section of my hair (everything I do on wash-day is done with my hair parted into 4 sections) and then a little more as my setting agent. When I use it as a moisturizer, I'll use less than a dime-sized amount for my whole head. It never fails me! The line has been discontinued (from what I hear) but I will be buying it from e-bay in bulk until I can't find it anymore, after that I dunno what I'll do lol. But obviously, this product gets an A+!

  3. OMG I thought I was the only one in love with this line!!!!! I use this leave-in too, it is AWESOME. I have like 3 bottles left. It moisturises and smellls great. And the Pumpkin Rehydrating shampoo is to DIE for. I have been searching for it for like a year and a half since I ran out, because it's discontinued and no one here in the UK seems to have it anymore. But today, by some miracle, I found it and cannot wait to be reunited with my glorious-dear-darling-shampoo again. Why don't more people know about this pumpkin range?? Yaay for Pumpkin Potion!

*sorry, i just got a little excited cos usually when I talk about this line people have never heard of it....cough*
