Why make personal goals???

While I think that joining challenges is important (for my hair and for myself personally) I'm starting to see the importance of personal challenges. Not everybody is gonna be at the same point in their journey (whether it be pertaining to hair, academia, religious goals, finances, etc) as you... therefore challenging yourself may be the only way to go!

For the rest of 2010, I'm going to make small personal challenges for myself... short-term challenges and maybe I can work up to long-term lifestyle changes! So far, I have two...

1.) I'm going to be bunning exclusively until March 31st 2010... no wearing my hair out AT ALL. My mom (who thinks my hair is "long" now... =/) hates when I wear my hair up but so what??! I'm gonna PS all the way to APL and at that point I'll PS to whatever I decide my next goal will be! In addition to bunning, I'm gonna be co-washing 2x a week and clarifying once a week.

2.) I will not eat meat on Fridays until lent is over!!! This past Friday I was playing rebellious and had a McDonald's sausage biscuit for breakfast and a BK Chicken Sandwich for dinner (I know... shame on me for all that fast food!!!!!!) just because I knew I wasn't supposed to be eating meat!
