Long and Luxurious: Protective Styling

So, I wore my hair out for a week and have decided that even though I'm not doing any longterm PSing this stretch, I still need to keep my hair somewhat protected and tucked away.

As many of you know, half-wigs are a GREAT protective style because they allow you access to your hair while keeping it covered. In addition, they can be super cute!

When I first started experimenting with them last summer, I stuck to shorter, more "natural" looking styles... but lately I've had an itch for super long, wavy hair... in comes one of my newest half-wigs: Sensationnel's HZ 7067!

This unit falls a bit past WL on me and I LOVE it.

If you follow me on twitter, you'll see that I tweeted this pic earlier:
...the exact words I used were "slutty long hair" haha (follow me on twitter to get a glimpse of the 'real' me hahaha).

I'm in love. I read a lot of reviews that said that the hair tangles easily, so I am prepared to only get about a week or two out of it but I will enjoy every freaking second of it!!

Do you guys utilize half-wigs as a PS? Which are your favorites?

  1. Girl...that IS long slutty hair! I have some pole dancing lessons I purchased on Groupon - me with my weave and you with your half-wig should go! And grab some clear, plastic 4-5 inch heels on our way! LOL! I love it, thats what weave (false hair of any kind) is for!

  2. I love half wigs. My favorite brands are Outre and Freeterss. I like sew ins but I can not get to my scalp like I want to so I do not wear them for long.

The products that I use are bought with my own money unless other wise stated and are for personal use. I am not paid to show any products on this blog! Results are on MY hair, but that does not guarantee that products/methods/techniques will work the same for you (though I HOPE they do!!) Happy Hair Growing!!
