Product Review: Jane Carter Solutions Hair Nourishing Cream

Retails for $22 from Jane Carter Solution

According to them: Natural Butters, Pure Essential Oils, Botanicals and Vitamins make Hair Nourishing Cream the ultimate hairdress. It’s ultra light consistency will not weigh hair down.  Use it as a hairdress. It’s great for blow drying natural hair. It will leave hair shiny, soft and bouncy. Can be used on hair and skin, leaves everything it touches feeling renewed and moisturized. This product is perfect for adding shine and repairing dry hair. This product can be used on all textures of hair.

Ingredients: Purified Water, Shea Butter, Kokum Butter, Illippe Butter, Mango Butter, Vtamins A, D, & E Orange, Grapefruit, Palmarosa, Cedarwood, Geranium, Ylang Ylang, Geranium, Bergamot, Rosemary Essential Oils, Jojoba, Glycerin, Polysorbate 80, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl acrylate Crosspolymer, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, Sorbic Acid.

According to me: This stuff is awesome!! It's super light-weight but super moisturizing and always leaves my hair soft! Also, because of the mostly-natural ingredients, it doesn't build up on my hair. The thing I love most about the Hair Nourishing Cream is its versatility: it works on braid-outs, twist-outs, roller-sets, buns, etc! I've never used it on my skin but I'm sure the effects would be the same. The only drawback is the price! At $22.00 a pop it is definitely a splurge! BUT, I was able to score it for $10 at the World Natural Hair Show back in September (and will be buying two more next time they are in town in April 2012!) and you can also find it on Amazon for a few dollars cheaper than the retail price. However, if these avenues were unavailable, I would spend the $22 on this stuff because it's just that awesome! I definitely give it a 5/5! =)

  1. The Jane Carter line of products are definitely a good line ( the Revitalizing Leave In is amazing!!). But $22!! I dunno man...that's a little steep!

I'm definitely going to have to give it a try one of these days!

  2. IKR! I'm not sure that I would have bought it for $22 originally but seeing how my hair loves it, I think I would! Thanks for commenting!

  3. Sounds like this to you is like my Bee Mine Luscious is to me, expensive as hell but totally worth it! This is one of the few products from JC I have not tried and it was always because of the price...getting it at a natural hair show is an awesome idea!
