Beauty Supply Store Haul in Pictures

In preparation for the next six months of roller-setting, I headed to the BSS today to get some more rollers and tools for rollersets! (I also bought some items that I will be using to make my first U-Part wig... more info on that coming soon...!)

I decided to try the wire-mesh rollers that I have been reading about on the forums
for the longest! I also got the slide-in roller-clips which should help with roller-placement
which is one of my biggest frustrations while roller-setting.

I also got a few hair products... the Nairobi shampoo for dandruff (hopefully
this will help with my scalp issues!) and I also got a couple of the CON Argan Oil
conditioning paks.

Lastly, I got some more magnetic rollers to supplement the ones I already have.

Roller setting ladies: what have been your last minute challenge buys?

  1. I haven't gotten anything yet, but I've been building a list for my next trip to Sallys. So far... Grey Magnetic Rollers and a new detangling comb.

  2. I love this haul! I have been curious about the Nairobi wrap lotion, which I've read great things about. But I only use wrap lotion when I plan on wearing a curly set from magnetic rollers and already have JC wrap lotion so...not gonna buy it!

    I do wanna try the mesh rollers, not gonna lie! And I actually do need some more large size rollers so I may pick some up. I got some slide in and large duck bill clips, a triangle net (left mine in NJ), a dryer and found my ear protectors! All set! I swear I wanna try a new set every day of the week cause somebody posts theirs! lol!

  4. @Kim, yes, the gray rollers were at the top of my list for when I want to do roller-wraps!!

    @ECP you reminded me about the mesh rollers in one of your tweets today! When I saw them in the BSS I had to grab a few packs... I will probably use them for curly sets (since the ones I got are pretty small!)

    @MrsDjRass girrrl! I think that's a good start!!!

  7. Le Sigh. Roller setting. That is one thing that I've never been good at. Good luck with that wig. I tried to make one the other day and it was an EPIC FAIL. I might blog about it, good thing I took pics.
