Got my LCL Beauty dryer! + Mesh Roller Experience (tons of pics!)

If you follow me on twitter, you saw my threats to the FedEx guy about delivering my darn dryer! Welp! At about 6pm yesterday my dryer was finally delivered to my mom's house (because FedEx doesn't like leaving packages at me apartment which is really annoying to me!). As soon as I left class, I hustled and bustled to her house to pick my "baby" up!

Ain't the box purrty!!
All the parts spread out on the floor! (can you tell how excited I was!)
My baby all put together!! So cute!!
After I put it together, I decided to try my first mesh roller-set. Since I just shampooed my hair a few days ago, I decided to just DC using the Creme of Nature Argan Oil Intensive Treatment Pack (which I bought in my BSS haul) and co-wash afterward with VO-5's clarifying conditioner. I did an ACV rinse (a staple in my regimen!!) and used the Creme of Nature Argan Oil Strength and Shine Leave in Conditioner and GVP Silk Remedy serum. I then rolled my hair up on my Annie mesh rollers.

The rolling process was sooo easy! I used end-papers and was able to roll my entire head up in under an hour using a mohawk rolling pattern:

Get this! My hair dried in THIRTY MINUTES! Yup! Thirty minutes!! (I love this dryer!!) The curls were so cute when I took them down and pincurled them! However, by morning they were a #hotmessdotcom!!
My curls were all dented from the pins! #notcute!

However I was able to save the set using my trusty Caruso Rollers. Here is my final look:

Had to flat iron the root ONLY ALONG MY PART!

**takes deep breath!**

And that was my first experience with my LCL Beauty, Pro-1028 dryer!!

Have you guys any hair fails-turned-triumphs lately?

  5. Never even thought to fix a set using Caruso rollers. Good info!!! Thirty minutes!?! I'm impressed too. LCL Beauty dryer, is that the name of the dryer or the company(for research purposes). ;) Your set was lovely. I'm lazy that would have been wrapped or a curly updo.

  12. Shika I had a soft bonnet dyer before! I will use that when I want to lounge around and too lazy to sit under my rollabout dryer! Lol!

  13. @bluebonnet I'm thinking of getting me a soft bonnet dryer for that very purpose! Especially for sets that don't take a long time to dry...

@Shereen come on over to the dark side! =)

  15. Rollerset with mesh rollers will take to dry half the time of a magnetic rollers due to the material of the roller. Mesh roller + dryer= Good Combo. But since I don't have a dryer, -sigh..
