Mini-Review: Macadamia Nut Oil Product Line

I was sent the Macadamia Nut Natural Oil Travel Kit by Folica.com for review.

Retail Price: 29.95

I've seen many "beauty gurus" on YouTube singing it's praises so I had to get my hands on it the first chance I got. I will say that the Travel Kit is perfect for trying the products (that are a bit pricey, in my opinion) at a lower stakes price.

What I thought: I loved this line! I did not use the shampoo (because my scalp is a bit tempermental so I use only specific shampoos). The moisturizing rinse left my hair soft as butter! It was literally soft enough to bypass using a deep conditioner. BUT, ya'll know I DC with EVERY shampoo, so I DC'd using the sample of the Deep Repair Masque. After sitting under the dryer for about 30 minutes and rinsing it out, my hair was literally in HEAVEN!

I rollerset my hair using the nourishing leave-in cream (which I was not CRAZY about, it was just "okay" but I have better leave-ins) and the Healing Oil Therapy as a serum (which I liked, and you get a whole lot for the price with this travel kit!). The final result was super soft, shiny hair. I loved the line as a whole!

Final Word: I would give this line 4/5 stars. It worked amazing but for the price? Shoot, it better work amazing! The only product that I would purchase in the full size would be the Deep Repair Masque (it was JUST that awesome!)

  1. Great review! Happy you got to try it, I haven't seen any of the vids on YT - which I'm shocked about since I normally see the YT trends. I'm curbing my PJ ways so I won't be purchasing but its definitely in my head in case Kerapro ever starts giving me problems.

    1. Thanks hun! Yeah, the Deep Repair Masque is definitely the stand-out in the line; I will probably splurge and buy the full sized at some point this year. You have a good one too!

  3. Great review! I've always wondered about these products when I'm browsing the hair care products at Target... and then I see the price and wonder if gold is listed in the ingredients lol.

The Deep Repair Masque has always been in the back of my mind. It's good to read some positive feedback on it!

    1. The Deep Repair Masque is da bomb! Like I told Raven, that's the only one that I would go out and buy in the full size (and I probably will)

  4. I've been seeing this product for a while now. Glad to know that it worked out well for you. The only thing is, the products look so small, I'm bound to finish them in 1 week tops. LOL

    Keep in touch

  5. I've seen this line in Target and thought about trying it as an alternate for when I'm running low on my main products (Phyto). Thanks for sharing - I may give it a try the next time I'm in the market!
