Where the heck have I been??

I know I have been MIA, this always happens when I add another "facet" to my life! It takes me a while to get everything in order.

What's this new facet, you might ask?

Well, I've started a weight loss journey! Yes! I've finally "officially" started one, and boy am I glad because I've lost 7lbs already!

What does this mean for my hair journey?

Nothing, I just know I won't be able to preserve my styles the way I used to! I will be arranging my hair-doing around my exercise schedule (not the other way around!!!). Hopefully, in a few more weeks, I'll have balanced everything a little better.

In the coming days I plan to write a couple of posts: a flat iron review, a "length check", and a video on how I cut my bangs.

Hope everyone is doing well!!

  1. Congrats on the weight loss. I just got my les mills body pump in the mail and will be starting soon. Trying to lose my love handles. I'm protective styling right now so it won't affect my workouts.

  5. I'm so proud of you. It makes so much sense to devote some of your energy to your overall health. I work out on Weds, Fri and Sat. I style my hair on Sundays normally so that I have three good hair days. With clips and hair candy, even a bad hair day after a workout is still decent. I style my hair how I'm going to wear it the next day and put my scarf on prior to working out. My style is usually preserved. bout the tutorial, um how about a BKO video? You know we all want to see it. Of course, whenever it's convenient for you. Puhlease!!

  6. Thank you!! I'm trying to stay on the ball! That's a good system you have with your hair and working out! I need to develop a stricter work-out schedule, right now I just work out "when I feel like it".

And I already have a BKO video on my old YT channel but that was with shorter hair, when I get my new camera, I will definitely film an updated version!!
